The foundation of our furniture starts with a quality frame. We use 304 stainless steel or powder coated aluminum. All of the frames are tig welded, with the welds ground and polished. An option for added corrosion resistance is 316 stainless steel. The wood we use is ipe, which is FSC certified. Untreated, ipe will weather to an attractive silver grey colour; if oiled a few times per year you can maintain the rich brown tone. Ipe will last well over 30 years untreated, and much longer if oiled.
